August 27, 2003 FROM SFX #108: "You've heard the rumors...We can tell you they're kosher! Probably...
"There are several very convincing rumors which suggest that Farscape will be returning to our screens after all.
"The stories, which we've had confirmed by a well-placed source, suggest that the show will be concluded in a four-hour mini-series that is currently under development in Australia. The stars of the show were at the Comic-Con and, intriguingly, when they were quizzed about the rumors, replied that they were not allowed to say either way. Now what does that tell you?
"An official statement released by Henson's said, 'Though there are currently no plans for any immediate Farscape projects to be produced, the "To Be Continued" ending in the final episode signifies the Jim Henson Company's commitment to the property and our belief that there are future opportunities for it to grow'
:When we contacted Henson's they cryptically told us 'We have lots of projects which will be unveiled soon', but would say no more. So watch this space...
Was mich, sollte dem Ganzen denn tatsächlich ein Fünkchen Wahrheit zugrundeliegen, etwas traurig stimmt ist: "the show will be concluded in a four-hour mini-series".
An official statement released by Henson's said, 'Though there are currently no plans for any immediate Farscape projects to be produced, the "To Be Continued" ending in the final episode signifies the Jim Henson Company's commitment to the property and our belief that there are future opportunities for it to grow'
We are contemplating various plans for the future of Farscape and though we can't give you any firm information at this time, when the decisions are made the announcements will appear on www.henson.com & www.farscape.com.
