Bei so einer aufwändigen Seite muss man natürlich unbedingt Flash 8 benutzen (was es für Linux offenbar gar nicht gibt)... *kopfschüttel*

Apropos TORCHWOOD.... ohne zu spoilern - aber dieser begriff zieht sich wie ein roter Faden (so a la BAD WOLF durch Season 1) durch die zweite Season...

Die Raumstation vor dem Schwarzen Loch aus Episode 2.08 und 2.09 hatte auch was mit TORCHWOOD-ARCHIVE zu tun...

Die Organisation wurde halt von der 18hunderter-Queen gegründet und hat wohl Bestand bis in die weite Zukunft (2.08/2.09)...

Ich freu mich jedenfalls drauf...

Siehe auch die Torchwood-Files in "Love and Monster". Das sollte mittlerweile klar sein denke ich, vor allem wenn man weiß was die BBC bezüglich des Finales bekanntgegeben hat. Der zweiten Who-Staffel.
Torchwood muss aber im Laufe der Zeit dann doch gewandelt haben, denn es ist ja in der Christmas Invasion nicht von einer Organisation, sondern von einer Waffe die Rede. Ich kann mir auch nicht vorstellen dass Torchwood so geheim ist dass UNIT nichts davon mitbekommen hat - was es offensichtlich ja auch nicht hat, siehe Invasion, dem Commander? war das schon ein Begriff. Hat wohl eine Umdeutung des Doctors von Gut nach Böse stattgefunden vermute ich mal.
Nun wir werden sehen welchen Preis Rose zu zahlen hat und wie die Staffel an sich endet. Das Dingens wiederzusehen ist allerdings eine schöne Aussicht, doch.
Und gibts dann auch noch Kriegermönche?

Doctor Who Magazine reports that there are still regular cast members for Torchwood that have not been announced yet, beyond the four credited cast members (John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Naoko Mori and Burn Gorman). Filming progresses, and at DWM's press time was soon to begin for the second production block, which indludes the third episode, The Ghost Machine by Helen Raynor, and the eighth episode, Greeks Bearing Gifts by Toby Whithouse; both are to be directed by Colin Teague. Block Three is beginning pre-production, with James Strong (The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit) directing.

Greaks Bearing Gifts? Also das reicht schon um bei mir den Eindruck zu erwecken, dass es in der Folge wohl kaum ohne ein trojanisches Pferd gehen wird.

Die Confidential Episode 2.12 zu Army of Ghosts (passenderweise "Welcome to Torchwood getauft) war diesmal ein wahres Eye-Candy für alle, die sehnsüchtig auf Torchwood warten.

Wer es also in die Finger bekommt, sollte es sich unbedingt ansehen, es gibt ein paar Einblicke in noch unfertige Sets des Hubs, das erste Readthrough und John Barrowman im WW2 Mantel. Dazu noch eine der vermutlich ersten Szenen mit Gwyneth.

JB:Will I be snogging David Tennant? I don't see that happening in the foreseeable future because there's things about Torchwood now and Doctor Who that will not cross. And without getting into too much information, certain things will only happen now in Torchwood and won't happen again . . . I mean, they wouldn't do that, I don't think, because it was such a big deal when I kissed Christopher Eccleston, that if I kissed David Tennant, it would be like repeating the same kind of thing, the shock value of it. So I don't think, I'm saying that, I don't think they'll do that again. But there's hope. You can always hope.

Q: What was Jack's initial reaction to being left behind?

JB: Well, John Barrowman's initial reaction was, I was gutted! When I turned that page . . .first when I saw that I was shot, I thought, well I'm dead. That's it. They've been telling me that I'm coming back, then I'm out. What's going on? Then I turned the page, oh I'm brought back to life. Phew! Then I turn the page, they leave me behind. So I was, you know, I was very upset. And Jack is a little angry. That's all I can say. Well, Jack is angry because in Torchwood that is shown, a little bit. I mean, wouldn't you be angry? Two people that you've given, you changed yourself for and you give your life and change that, you know become a better person for and they turn around and they ditch ya! He ditches me for her! No. So, yeah, Jack's a bit angry. And also, the Doctor does not believe in bringing people back to life. So there's going to be a whole conflict thing when we meet again. Plus I don't know what he looks like. I don't know what he looks like. So you've got to remember that – Jack doesn't know what he looks like.

Das wundert mich etwas, natürlich ist ein Großteil der Torchwood-Leute tot, doch wenigstens Harriet Jones sollte doch Akten über das neue Aussehen haben? Oder UNIT?
Konflikt hört sich aber auf jeden Fall sehr gut an.

Q: Do we ever find out what happens in the two years missing from Jack's memory?

JB: Yes you will. You will find out a lot about Jack in Torchwood. I have to be careful because I'm really not supposed to talk about it . . . but there's a lot of stuff in Torchwood that you will find out about Jack. There's a lot of stuff in Torchwood that you will be told about Jack by the other characters. Jack becomes a lot darker. He still has a good sense of humour, and he's still very witty, very dry, very cutting with his dialogue, but he does become a bit darker, a bit more mysterious because he doesn't want to give himself away right off the bat. That's all I'll say. But you'll still like him.
