Standard AW: Doctor Who | Die neuen Abenteuer

I can feel it. The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour, the entire planet is hurtling around the sun at sixty-seven thousand miles an hour, and I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if if we let go... that's who I am.

Das habe ich im OG-Forum gepostet. Was haltet ihr davon?

Actually, I think if Billie Piper is ever going to leave the show, it would be even more disasterous than the exit of Christopher Eccleston. At least for the general public. The show is so focused on Rose that she is now a vital part of the new incarnation of Doctor Who! A new female companion is going to fail miserably if she isn't too different to Rose.

This is what I would do:

    - keep Captain Jack, he's different and funny. Now all this guy needs is more background story but that's coming up anyway.

    - get the Doctor, Rose and Jack to meet Diana Goddard again. For some story-arc reason or so they are forced to take her with them. This would change the dynamic between the characters drastically. She could be like Whedon's Emma Frost, Lilah in "Angel" or Aeryn in the beginning of "Farscape". Now there's a character to develop!

    - as Diana gets more and more comfortable with the adventures, something happens to Rose that makes her leave the Doctor. Since the show slowly transformed the leads from a duo to a "scoobie gang", it won't leave such a big wound if Rose leaves the Doctor.

Can you tell that I loved the character of Diana in "Dalek".

Toll !
Plus für alle Shipper: Der Kuss als Wallie! Wheeee!

    UND DANN NOCH DAS: Grr..
And, for those who asked, 23-6-801 started as a mistake on the Psalm board in episode 8, and became a bit of misleading fun. But thanks for all your theories on that one.

Tja, gute Frage Dune.

Emperor Dalek: HELLO DOCTOR. HOW DO YOU LIKE MY HALF-HUMAN DALEKS?
    Doctor: Half-human? That's disgusting.
Emperor Dalek: BUT ACCORDING TO THE DOCTOR WHO MOVIE, YOU'RE HALF-HUMAN.
Doctor: Don't confuse me with continuity!

    Wheee! Is heut scho' Weihnachten??

    Series 2 news- Spoilers
    From BBC Wales

"Russell T Davies, writer and Executive Producer, adds: "We were
delighted and honoured by the first series' success, and we can
promise new thrills, new laughs, new heartbreak, and some terrifying
new aliens. The Doctor and Rose are destined to meet Queen Victoria,
an evil race of Cat Women, and the dreaded Cybermen. 2006 is going
    to be scarier than ever!"

Filming of the 60 minute Christmas episode kicks off in London and
continues in various locations across Wales, predominantly in
Cardiff. Christmas becomes a time of terror for Planet Earth, as the
whole of mankind falls under the shadow of the alien Sycorax. Rose
needs the Doctor's help, but can she trust a man with a new face?

Camille Coduri returns as Rose's mum Jackie and Noel Clarke as
Mickey. Penelope Wilton returns as Harriet Jones in the Christmas
Special. Anthony Head (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Little Britain) and
Adam Garcia (Coyote Ugly, Saturday Night Fever The Musical) are now
confirmed to star in series two. Elisabeth Sladen resumes her role
as the iconic character Sarah Jane Smith; remembered by a whole
generation of Doctor Who fans as the assistant to both Jon Pertwee
    and Tom Baker.

The Christmas Special will be screened later this year and series
two is scheduled for spring 2006. Writers include Russell T Davies,
Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss, Toby Whithouse, Tom Macrae, Matt Jones
and Stephen Fry. The directors include James Hawes, Euros Lyn and

Surviorsguilt!Doctor *fg*).

    Und Cosmonusa macht mir Angst.
