Just got another response from Ms Savides, who has now changed to finishing her emails as "Kirsty" as opposed to "Kirsty Savides". She also said "Hi" for the first time, and seems a lot less formal than before

Just got this from her in response to the question about German R2 discs:

Dear 8-],

I'm delighted that you are more than satisfied with our decision.

Unfortunately Warner Home Video UK will only be able to replace R2 discs purchased in the UK, which is why we require customers to send in their existing disc as proof of purchase. Customers who have bought discs from other R2 territories should write to the local WHV office to obtain a replacement.

Das sind für die Besitzer der UK-Box sehr gute Nachrichten! Gemäß der Angaben von Frau Savides sollen sich die Besitzer anderer RC2-Boxen an die jeweiligen Länder-Niederlassungen wenden (für die deutsche Box also an Warner D).

Auf den Einwand hin, daß Warner D nie auf e-Mails antwortet schrieb 8-] noch einmal an Frau Savides:

Nun ja. Ich habe auf jeden Fall schon eine e-Mail an Warner D gesendet. Ich werde dies auch noch schriftlich nachholen. Zudem habe ich auch noch Amazon.de per e-Mail kontaktet.

Allerdings stehen die Chancen hier in D sehr schlecht. Aus anderen Foren ist zu lesen, daß schon bei Warner D angerufen wurde und diese einen Umtausch (so wie in England) verneint haben. Anscheinend beruft sich Warner D (habe ich schon vermutet, daß dies kommen wird) auf den Fehlerhinweis-Aufkleber auf der Box. Dieser wurde allerdings erst nachträglich angebracht! So betrifft er alle Erstbesteller auf jeden Fall nicht. So haben diese auf jeden Fall das Recht sich zu beschweren!!!

Also auch hier ein Aufruf an euch: Mailt und schreibt was das Zeug hält, damit wir in D auch eine fehlerfrei Box erhalten!
