Vor Kurzem wurde ich auf eine neue Serie beim Qualitätssender AMC (Rubicon, Mad Men, Walking dead) aufmerksam die mich spontan an das legendäre Twin Peaks erinnert - die Serie soll ein sehr düsteres Setting haben, aber weniger Mysteryelemente als der Lynch-Geniestreich.

The Killing is an upcoming American crime drama television series created and produced by Veena Sud. Based on the Danish miniseries Forbrydelsen (The Crime), it is being produced by Fox Television Studios and executive produced by Fuse Entertainment. The series' first season, consisting of 13 hour-long episodes, is scheduled to premiere on the cable channel AMC on Sunday, April 3, 2011.[1][2]
Set in Seattle, Washington, and filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, the series follows three stories centered around the homicide of a young girl, Rosie Larsen, and the ensuing police investigation.[1]

Klingt jedenfalls sehr vielversprechend und basiert auf der auch in Deutschland beliebten Serie "Kommissarin Lund" aus Dänemark.

"The Killing" läuft ab Anfang April auf AMC.
