G'day all. It is I, the accused, and I plead guilty.

(I apologise for writing in English, but although I speak and understand German, I feel about as comfortable writing it as you lot do listening to my voice - hahaha)

I just wanted to say...

...I think some of you may have somewhat misplaced expectations. The song is just a little pop song, because that's what I do for a living, harmless (haha) little pop songs. It was never intended to be an International Scaper Anthem because, well, I just don't do things like that!

...so most of you don't like my voice. Well, that's no surprise to me, not many Germans do (hahaha), but instead of bitching around in a forum, why not mail me and tell me what exactly you don't like, I'd be very grateful for any form of constructive criticism, and more than willing to try to accomodate (time permitting) any wishes, suggestions or whatever. Even better would be DO IT BETTER YOURSELF and mail me an audio file which I can integrate into the song.

...you can also tell me what kind of musical direction you might like the song to take, rock? hiphop? waltz? Whatever you want!

...I was amused that people who thought "fa-fa-fa" was pretty stupid (which of course it is&#33 ended up liking it. I take that as a great compliment, because that's my line of business: those irritating pop songs that you hate but end up buying! So, thanks for that!

And the latest news is:
1. Version 09a is loads better than version 09.
2. I'm going to sing it again, I know I can do it better, but I'm sure you still won't like it!
3. I'm going to record it with my band this week, so I'll open another packet of Bensons, crack open the apple wine, turn the Hiwatt up to ten, plug in the Gibson, think of my favourite TV series and get rockin' - until then, I'll look forward to your responses.
