Premise: (9/11/03) Warner Bros. is being very tight-lipped about what exactly this take on the 'Batman' legacy is like, except that it will focus on the younger Batman (ie, not long after the setting of Batman: Year One). What is definitely known is that this film will follow one of the adventures of billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, whose obsession with bringing justice to the evil-doers of Gotham City compels him to fight crime as Batman, master detective. There have long been rumors that the villain (or at least one of them) will be the Scarecrow, who uses drugs and chemicals to alter people's perception of reality, sending them into nightmare-like hallucinations. Harry Knowles of AICN is also reporting that another villain will be Ra's Al Ghul, an international criminal mastermind obsessed with taking over the world (and maintaining his immortality, after having lived 600+ years). Knowles also reports that much of the film will be set in London. The appearance of Ra's Al Ghul also suggests that his daughter, Talia (whom Bruce Wayne has had a romantic relationship in the comics), will also be featured.

Ich weiß, Blade, na ja, da weiß man nicht was rauskommt. Irgendwo hab ich aber auch gelesen das er das Drehbuch nach Anweisungen von Nolan, macht die Regie bei dem Film, bastelt. Und der Mann hat Memento gedreht. Wie hoch sind wohl die Chancen das er sich so verbiegt und aus Batman 5 eine Teenieschnulze a la Smallville macht?

Wahrscheinlich haben dir aber die Gerüchte über Ashton Kutcher Angst gemacht, oder?

Kürzlich kam raus das Guy Pearce die Batmanrolle tatsächlich abgelehnt hat um in einem von Nick Cave geschriebenen Film mitzuspielen. Bekanntlich hat ja jetzt Christain Bale die Hauptrolle. Hast du American Psycho gesehen? Ne, der Mann wird Lana wohl nicht aus ´m Auto retten. Mitspielen werden übrigens auch Dennis Quaid und John Malkovich.

Ich hätte es natürlich auch lieber gesehen wenn man die Kunstwerke von Frank Miller verfilmt hätte. Ich hoffe mal das Nolan sich, ähnlich wie es Burton damals getan hat, wenigstens von ihnen inspirieren lässt. Leicht wird der Film IMO aber nicht. Es soll ja keine bloße Kopie der ersten beide Filme werden.

Muss ich jetzt noch was zu Birds of Prey schreiben?

Der Titel gefällt mir. Dina Meyer konnte ich aber noch nie leiden. Die brauch ich nur angucken und schon ist sie mir unsympathisch. Und dann noch Batgirl? Schon die Animationsserie wurde deutlich schlechter als Batman Gesellschaft bekam, wie bei den Filmen. Batman funktioniert nur alleine. Und ohne ihn funktioniert es ja auch nur, waren es 13, ein paar Folgen. Lohnt es sich da überhaupt einzuschalten?
