ANGEL 5.01 - Zusammenfassung
Charisma Carpenter and Vincent Kartheiser have been removed from the opening credits.
This episode marks the first time Joss Whedon has written and directed the season premiere since the pilot.
Angel moves out of the Hyperion hotel after nearly 3 years of living there with the rest of AI.
Mercedes McNab reprises her role as Harmony after being told to leave by Cordelia at the end of 2x17 'Disharmony'.
David Boreanaz is now the only remaining original Angel cast member.
Hauser's attack team use combat knives made from wood, and carry flasks of holy water.
Eve says how Wolfram & Hart is a multi-dimensional corporation, and so not just based on Earth. We are first hinted this when the gang travel to Pylea and discover the books with each corresponding animal on them.
James Marsters has been added to the opening credits.
Angel doesn't have his hair spiked anymore. This is the first time he's had a major change in hairstyle, in anything other than flashbacks.
Spike came back to life the same way that he died on Buffy 7x22 'Chosen', only in reverse.
Numero Cinco makes a walk-on role in this episode. Expect to see him in more blink-and-you'll-miss-it scenes up to 5x06 'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'.
James Marsters is the third person to become a main cast member on Angel after being a main cast member on Buffy the Vampire Slayer first.
Angel Kills a human in this episode.
Corbin Fries mentions Holland Manners when he talks about how things used to be run.
In the past, Angel: The Series has never had any two part episodes (with 'to be continued' at the end). Since most of the people behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer have become part of the crew for this show, there will obviously be a few changes. This being the first.
This marks the first time that both David Boreanaz (Angel) and James Marsters (Spike) are both credited in the opening credits of the same show at the same time. On Buffy, David was credited for Seasons 2 & 3 and then he left for his own show. Spike resurfaced in Sunnydale and was credited for Seasons 4 through 7.
