ANGEL 5.06 - Zusammenfassung

'Luchadors', translated to English means 'fighters'. (aka Night Of The Luchadors.)

Although Lucha Libre (Free Wrestling) is an actual Mexican sport, the specific reference here is to El Santo, a real masked wrestler who starred as himself in films in which he took on cases ranging from simple kidnappings to re-animated mummies. In a weird way, "Angel" continues the local tradition.

Angel makes refference to the fake prophecy "The Father Will Kill The Son" Wesley doesn't remember because of the spell.

As seen in Numero Cinco's flashback, he is approached by a lawyer from Wolframn and Hart and offered a job. The name of the man, as seen on the card, is Holland Manners.

Last episode was Halloween and Mexican Day of the Dead is on Nov. 2nd so this episode should take place 2 days after last episode.

Numero Cinco is spanish for 'Number Five', which is what everyone seems to call him.
