JMS und sein neues B5 Projekt

In "Shadows," the technology of the ancient and extinct Shadow race is being unleashed upon the galaxy by an unknown force, and Earthforce intelligence officer Diane Baker, whose brother was recently killed in a mysterious explosion, it out to find out who is behind the intergalactic conspiracy.

Joining her is Galen, a techno-mage who has been charged with keeping the technology out of the hands of those who would abuse it.

Damit hätten wir ja auch ein paar neue (eigentlich die ersten richtigen) Infos zur Story. Hört sich so an, als wolle JMS mit der Story an Crusade anknüpfen, denn da hätte es ja um Verschwörungen im Zusammenhang mit Schattentechnologie gehen sollen.

Ich vermut mal, Dir geht's vorrangig um folgende Passage:

character. This person is a big fan of B5 as well as a friend, so a call came
to me to ask if I wanted in on this. I said hell yes. I can't say much else

Was wirklich konkretes lässt sich daraus jetzt nicht ableiten. Klar, wenn man will, kann man daraus lesen, dass es eine neue B5-Serie geben wird. Ist vielleicht gar nicht mal so unwahrscheinlich, andererseits muss es sich dabei nicht mal unbedingt um ein B5-Projekt handeln.

"do a series using an established character": ich kann mir irgendwie nicht richtig vorstellen, das damit ein B5-Charakter gemeint bzw. kann ich mir nicht wirklich eine Spin-Off-Serie nur auf Basis einer einzigen Person aus B5 vorstellen.
Mit am logischsten wäre da eigentlich noch eine Serie über/mit Galen, da er ja auch im Kinofilm vorkommt, aber "established character"?
