I smell somethin' fishy--and it ain't Chicken of the Sea. We all know Joss Whedon has said Sarah Michelle Gellar is not returning to Angel. And according to a show rep, Michelle Trachtenberg and Alyson Hannigan "aren't likely" to return, because Michelle is shooting an ice-skating movie for Disney and Alyson's busy doing a play in London--When Harry Met Sally, with Luke Perry.

Butt! (And this is a J.Lo-circa-Selena-size one.) One look at the Royal Theater Haymarket Website and you'll see something rather interesting: "At all performances between Mar. 17 and Apr. 3 inclusive, the role of Sally will be played by Elizabeth Jasicki. Alyson Hannigan appears at all other performances."

Turns out, Alyson is currently in Los Angeles, shooting a pilot called Untitled Tarses/Wrubel Project (now that's catchy)--this is the same NBC sitcom David Schwimmer is directing.

Now, perhaps this is just my delusional wishful thinking, but this smacks of counter-spoiler hoodwinkery to me. I'd bet my TiVo remote (but not the whole box) that since Alyson is in town when they happen to be taping the final episodes, she will (fingers crossed) find it in her heart to squeeze in some sort of Angelic appearance next to her real-life hubby, Alexis Denisof.

And who knows? Maybe some other familiar faces are being held under wraps as well. Again, this is possibly a big ol' delusion of a tube-stunted mind, so we shall see.

Meanwhile, while we're blabbin' Angel, I simply must hand out big props to the folks over at savingangel.com, who continue to amaze us media types (and, I hope, network decision-maker types) with their all-out, take-no-prisoners campaign to save the show. Just this week, I've seen the "Save Angel" billboard truck cruise by my very window three times, and I received a big ol' yummy box of "Save Angel" chocolate bars. I'll share 'em with Giuliana and Patrick on the weekend edition of E! News Live, for the whole world (or at least my mom and the other three people watching) to see. You guys rule!

That is what I&#39;ve heard. Also, in the May 12 episode, Senatorminator Bruckner wants Angel to brainwash her opponent into becoming a pedophile, guaranteeing her reelection. We also see some familiar faces from previous episodes of Angel.
