A very close source has confirmed that ABC is recasting the role of young gardner John (orginally played by Kyle Searles) on the new series Desperate Housewives. It's the second character to be recast as Sheryl Lee recently departed the role of Mary Alice Scott for unknown reasons. An official announcement will be shortly.
