Noch ein kleiner Nachschlag zu LAX:
Also ich finde die Quoten in Ordnung. Mindestens der 3. Platz im Timeslot war immer sicher, auch wenn zur selben Zeit Lost lief. Aber was soll man machen. Auf die restlichen Folgen werden wir wohl auch, wenn überhaupt, sehr lange warten müssen.LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC is grounding its freshman drama "LAX" as the network announced over the weekend production on the series will halt after its initial 13 episodes.
The news more or less spells the end of the series, which originally aired on Mondays at 10:00/9:00c before moving to Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c last month. It's also not clear if the Peacock will air the show's final three installments as various specials are set to fill the Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c hour for the next three weeks: "Tim McGraw: Here and Now" (November 24th), an "Apprentice" clip show (December 1st) and "A Clay Aiken Christmas" (December 8th).
A less than stellar 7.49 million viewers tuned into "LAX" on average according to final Nielsen Media Research numbers available so far this season (9/20/04-11/14/04), ahead of only "American Dreams" (7.41 million), "Hawaii" (7.16 million) and "Last Comic Standing" (5.78 million) on the network.

GROUNDED: In one of the most highly anticipated cancellations since, well, Hawaii bit the dust last month, NBC has rerouted LAX to the scrap heap. It's not clear when the show's final three episodes will air, but all signs point to Never. An ABC rep, meanwhile, denies rumors that LAX star Heather Locklear is in talks to join the cast of Desperate Housewives. "It's not happening," insists the spokesperson. "I don't know where that rumor got started." Hey, don't look at me! OK, look at me, but don't accuse me of spreading that rumor.
