Boomer war auch mein erster Gedanke und dann Kara, aber um wessen Baby es geht werden wir wohl erst in der Folge erfahren.

ich bin ja schon voll auf die folge, die aus der sicht der cylons erzählt gespannt. das wird sicher cool.

Auf die Folge freue ich mich auch, wer weiß vielleicht verstehen wir die Zylonen dann und werden Fans von ihnen und ihrem Plan, von dem wir in der Folge hoffentlich mehr erfahren.

Vom Namen her könnte es darum gehen wie die Humanoiden Zylonen in ihre Körper kommen.

The second season will also resume with new episodes on January 6, 2006. Episode 211, "Resurrection Ship," will resolve the "Pegasus" cliffhanger, but will then pose its own cliffhanger. A decision was made by Ron Moore to extend the "Resurrection Ship" storyline to Episode 212 as there was too much material to cover in just a single episode.

One of the more recent Moore blogs posted on the SCI FI Galactica homepage this past October also indicated that Ron was dissatisfied with one of the later Galactica episodes.

"I found myself not only dissatisfied last night," Moore stated, "but positively angry with myself at something I knew in my bones had fallen well below the bar I set for myself and for the show in general. I won't go into it now (maybe later) but it was one of those situations where I looked at something and had to listen to the voice inside my head say, 'You screwed this one up.' Nothing pisses me off more than not making a show the best I think it can be and in this case, there was no one to blame but myself."

Sources close to the Battlestar Galactica production have indicated that Ron was referring to the long anticipated Cylon point-of-view (PoV) episode, 218. Apparently, that episode has been trashed and with the extra-episode (212) inserted, 217 will be replacing 218. Whether fans will ever see the Cylon PoV storyline (or not) remains to be determined.

Season 2 will end with a two-parter (Episodes 219 and 220) and the "mother of all" cliffhangers. But take heart, Galactica fans, for the first episodes of Season 3 will resolve that crisis.

Battlestar Galactica is the highest-rated SCI FI show in its programming lineup, and with the official pickup there is no doubt that it will continue to be a hit on Friday nights. Stay tuned to Flight Deck for more news about upcoming episodes of the new Galactica.

Schade, dass die Episode aus Sicht der Cylonen gestrichen wurde. Hoffentlich kommt die Folge in der dritten Staffel. Ich habe ja von Gerüchten gehört, das die Folge gestrichen wurde, weil die Cylonen zu gut wegkommen würden, obwohl sie ja der feind wären. Und hoffentlich leidet nicht die Qualität der Episode "Resurrection Ship" unter der recht kurzfristigen Änderung.

Unable to resist this tempting target, Commander William Adama (Edward James Olmos) and Admiral Helena Cain (Michelle Forbes) establish an uneasy truce as they agree to prioritize the destruction of the “Resurrection” ship, tabling their conflicts, for now. But Adama remains distrustful, as he learns that Cain's survive-at-all-costs attitude saw Pegasus abandon its civilian fleet months ago. scifi hat zu der zweiten staffel die rausgeschnittenen szenen freigegeben, wie schon bei der ersten sin da interessante stücke bei.

Can a Cylon get tired, too? Maybe, but "Battlestar Galactica" fans may have to wait until next summer to find out for sure.

Battlestar Wiki is reporting details of the two-part second season finale of "Battlestar Galactica" that will air in March, and with it comes the return of an old friend with ... an olive branch.

According to the site, Cylon model Leoben Conoy (Callum Keith Rennie) will return to the Colonial fleet with an offer of peace from the Cylons. What do they want in return? Colonials would have to abandon their multiple gods and instead worship one god ... the Cylon god. Of course, the Cylons want some people as well to help them continue their human-Cylon hybrid program.

"In spite of the potentially horrific terms, the civilian population of the fleet seems to support Conoy's peace plan, but Roslin (Mary McDonnell) and Adama (Edward James Olmos) do not," the site reports about the episode, tentatively called "Lay Down Your Burdens." "Roslin is determined to strike down the peace accord and calls a referendum on the matter."

And Roslin will seek help for the referendum from her friend and rival, Tom Zarek, marking the return of Richard Hatch to the series as his political terrorist character.

The site also reports that rumors are circulating that Dean Stockwell -- who played Al in "Quantum Leap" -- will be making a guest appearance in these two episodes that will close the second season of the series.

Of course, none of this information has been confirmed by SciFi Channel or NBC Universal, and should be treated as any rumor would.

"Battlestar Galactica" airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on SciFi Channel.

Einige "Battlestar Galactica"-Spoiler wurden vor kurzem bei Shaun's Subject2Discussion Internet-Talkshow verkündet.

Ein neues Zylonen-Modell taucht im zweiteiligen Staffelfinale "Lay Down Your Burdens" auf. Sein Name ist Bruder Cavel, und er wird vom bekannten Schauspieler und SciFi-Veteran Dean Stockwell gespielt. Eine der denkwürdigsten Rollen des Schauspielers ist Al - das Hologramm aus der hochgelobten Serie "Zurück in die Vergangenheit". Es wird spekuliert, dass Cavil ein Mitglied des zylonischen, religiösen Ordens ist, deshalb der Name Bruder Cavil.

Auch von Interesse ist, welche(r) Zylon(en) der Galactica-Flotte die Hand des Friedens ausstrecken. Obgleich berichtet wurden, dass Leoben der Abgesandte ist, zeigen neue Informationen an, dass Nummer Sechs und Boomer die wohlwollenden Zylonen sind.

Andere Galactica-Spoiler sind ebenso aufgedeckt worden. Wie "Hollywood North Report" bereits berichtete, wird ein weiterer bekannter Schauspieler einen Gastauftritt in einer der kommenden Folgen haben: Niemand geringeres als Dana Delaney. Welche Rolle sie spielt, ist noch unsicher. Und für eine gewisse Zeit erreicht Vizepräsident Gaius Baltar sogar einen höheren Rang: Den des Präsidenten. Das bedeutet nicht, dass Laura Roslin stirbt – ganz im Gegenteil. Da sie sich jedoch von ihrer Krankheit erholt, nimmt Baltar diesen erhabenen Posten an und wird politischer Führer der Galactica-Flotte – mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen.

Zweifellos deuten diese Spoiler einige interessante Entwicklungen für die restlichen zehn Episoden von "Battlestar Galactica" an, welche ab Freitag dem 6. Januar wieder auf dem SCI FI Channel ausgestrahlt werden. All jene, welche diese Serie noch nicht kennen, sollten es doch bitte mal versuchen. Sie wurde vom Time Magazine zur NUMMER EINS SHOW des Jahres 2005 gekürt.

Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein.

Das wäre dann Zylone Nummer 7, schön das man einen Schauspieler wie Dean Stockwell für die Rolle gewinnen konnte. Auf den religösen Orden bin ich auch gespannt, und wer von den bvisherigen humanoiden Zylonen noch dazu gehört.

Lucy's episode "Downloaded" is now episode #18 instead of #17 and has a definite date and will be shown as originally planned - there was talk about it being removed from the schedule because Ron Moore wasn't happy with it. It is now scheduled to air on 24th February 2006.

Downloaded

I've seen some speculation out there that we dropped the Cylon POV episode from the lineup this season, but I'm happy to report that it's untrue. The episode, "Downloaded" will be broadcast as number 18 and I just watched it last night. It's a good show and a very different spin on our story thus far, in that we're telling the A-story entirely through the eyes of the Cylons for the first time. This was something that I'd been wanting to do for a long time but it took a while to come to fruition. The confusion probably came from the fact that we had initially planned to do a clip show as ep 18, but then dropped those plans once we made the decision to split "Resurrection Ship" into two parts, thereby giving us an extra episode and obviating the need for the clip show (which was being planning for budgetary reasons).

And after watching an advance screener of the two-part season finale — airing March 3 and 10 — I'm going to add the incomparable Mary McDonnell to the Emmys' must-list. Oh, speaking of the big climax, it'll probably come as no surprise that it's fan-frakking-tastic. Before it's over, two major characters will get hitched, two closeknit characters will become estranged and another Cylon model will be revealed. But the big twist comes in the final 30 minutes of the second episode. All I'll say is it's a Galactica first and it's something you'll have to read to believe.
