Ecchi... Naja, versaut. Sagen wir, es sind die etwas eindeutigeren Sachen. Pantsushots nacktes Fleisch, so'n Kram. Grundsätzlich alles was Nasenbluten seitens irgendwelcher Teenage-Jungs (und männlichen Otaku aller Altersklassen) hervorruft

Im Lexikon steht dazu:
Ecchi is derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the letter "H", the first letter in the word hentai (as spelled in romaji). Ecchi is another way to say "perverted" in Japanese, but its connotation is not as strong as hentai. Anime that contain a lot of sexual humor but no outright pornography are often referred to as ecchi, examples include Love Hina and to a lesser extent Ranma 1/2.

Chotto Ecchi (chotto meaning "slightly") refers to anime that has some light sexual themes.
Aber wirklich bitte nicht mit Hentai verwechseln, das wäre schleeeeecht

Achja und da ich es vorher erwähnte, Fanservice, denn da gibt es ja doch einen Unterschied (NGE z.B. hat damals sogar mit Fanservice Werbung gemacht und da war Pantsu ja doch sehr limitiert):
Fan service is the act of adding something with no direct relevance to the story or character development into an anime (or manga) for the purpose of pleasing fans.

The most common form of fan service is the addition of scenes of scantily clothed, seductively posed, well-endowed women, or something similar (panty shots), also common in anime and especially manga aimed at female readers are similar situations involving male characters.

However, fan service does not have to be sexual in nature. Other forms of fanservice include gratuitous amounts of detailed mecha transformation scenes, mascot placings and so-on.
Nochmal zum ungeschnittenen:
Die DVDs sind in Japan noch nicht alle raus und nur die sind ungeschnitten, wohingegen alles was im TV gelaufen ist (zumindest bezüglich Elfen Lied) geschnitten wurde ob der Brutalität.

Anime.Fin hat zwar ausnahmsweise auch mal TV Versionen rausgebracht, aber das sind auch geschnittene. Zusätzlich machen sie im Moment noch die DVD Rips, drei Eps sind raus. Shinsen Fansubs haben vier draußen soweit ich gesehen hab. Und es gibt sieben Episoden, die angeblich auch von DVD sind aber die sind in spanischen Subs, aber auch da sind noch nicht alle raus.
