Q: How many times do you get your kit off in Torchwood?

JB: I don't want to spoil it. But let's just say you will see more of Jack in the upcoming episodes of Torchwood. You will, you absolutely will - and you will see his butt.

Q: You kissed Christopher Eccleston. Will you be kissing David Tennant?

JB:Will I be snogging David Tennant? I don't see that happening in the foreseeable future because there's things about Torchwood now and Doctor Who that will not cross. And without getting into too much information, certain things will only happen now in Torchwood and won't happen again . . . I mean, they wouldn't do that, I don't think, because it was such a big deal when I kissed Christopher Eccleston, that if I kissed David Tennant, it would be like repeating the same kind of thing, the shock value of it. So I don't think, I'm saying that, I don't think they'll do that again. But there's hope. You can always hope.

Q: What was Jack's initial reaction to being left behind?

JB: Well, John Barrowman's initial reaction was, I was gutted! When I turned that page . . .first when I saw that I was shot, I thought, well I'm dead. That's it. They've been telling me that I'm coming back, then I'm out. What's going on? Then I turned the page, oh I'm brought back to life. Phew! Then I turn the page, they leave me behind. So I was, you know, I was very upset. And Jack is a little angry. That's all I can say. Well, Jack is angry because in Torchwood that is shown, a little bit. I mean, wouldn't you be angry? Two people that you've given, you changed yourself for and you give your life and change that, you know become a better person for and they turn around and they ditch ya! He ditches me for her! No. So, yeah, Jack's a bit angry. And also, the Doctor does not believe in bringing people back to life. So there's going to be a whole conflict thing when we meet again. Plus I don't know what he looks like. I don't know what he looks like. So you've got to remember that – Jack doesn't know what he looks like.

Das wundert mich etwas, natürlich ist ein Großteil der Torchwood-Leute tot, doch wenigstens Harriet Jones sollte doch Akten über das neue Aussehen haben? Oder UNIT?
Konflikt hört sich aber auf jeden Fall sehr gut an.

Q: Do we ever find out what happens in the two years missing from Jack's memory?

JB: Yes you will. You will find out a lot about Jack in Torchwood. I have to be careful because I'm really not supposed to talk about it . . . but there's a lot of stuff in Torchwood that you will find out about Jack. There's a lot of stuff in Torchwood that you will be told about Jack by the other characters. Jack becomes a lot darker. He still has a good sense of humour, and he's still very witty, very dry, very cutting with his dialogue, but he does become a bit darker, a bit more mysterious because he doesn't want to give himself away right off the bat. That's all I'll say. But you'll still like him.
