Ein paar Fakten vom neuesten Interview mit Chris Chibnall in der SFX:
  • "More fun, more adventure, more warmth, more romance, more excitement. We've plussed everything!" (soll heißen, nicht nur 'dunkle' Stories...)
  • "We learn a lot about Jack, about all aspects of his life - more about the time agency, more about where Jack comes from. And he has [romantic] entanglements this year. I wish I could tell you who with, but you'll have to wait and see!"
  • Bilis Manager won't be returning to Torchwood for its second series (but he could return in the future); Jack being the Face of Boe won't be addressed ("that's x amount of years in the future and the subject of speculation")
  • Ianto's stopwatch will return...
  • [Martha Jones'] story in Torchwood picks up where she left off in Doctor Who. She's a little bit tougher, but still with all that fantastic Martha warmth and energy, and what's lovely is that relationship she has with Jack - they literally have seen the end of the world together.
  • [Jack being the Face of Boe] That's x amount of years in the future and the subject of speculation, so no, it's not touched upon in Torchwood. But I know John Barrowman's thrilled with it.
