Ein paar Aussagen von Barrowman persönlich in 'Loose Women':

Torchwood will be 'hot sexy, and after 9 o'clock'
It will air on BBC3 and will possibly repeat on BBC1
In the show, no one will know how he gets back to present-day Earth
Jack will have a team 'around him' helping to solve crimes
He plans to be wearing leather and promises whips and chains to boot!

Obwohl das mit den Peitschen und Ketten wohl nicht ganz ernst gemeint war (schade *g*)

Plus eine Aussage auf seiner Homepage:

"To the best of my knowledge that is the plan. Torchwood wraps and he goes into filming Doctor Who series 3 immediately or shortly there after."

Sehr gut, eh?

Undoch ein paar News, geklaut von Outpost Gallifrey:

In the new Doctor Who Magazine, executive producer Russell T Davies has commented on the new spin-off series "Torchwood".
Davies says that the show and Doctor Who will "share some of the production base". Ed Thomas will now be Series Designer on both shows.
DWM also confirms with the production that Charlotte Church has not been approached to appear in the series, contrary to the recent reports in the British tabloids.
Davies also says that "anyone worrying that a new show will drain the resources of Doctor Who is just... well, a worrier. We've planned this in great detail. And all of the planning has taken account of the fact that Doctor Who is the BBC's flagship show [...] and must be protected and supported at all times. The shows have separate budgets, and both will be fully staffed from the best we can find." As is Davies' tradition, he also appears to casually drop in a character name: "the Doctor will be striding into 2006 with some truly astonishing adventures, with Jack and Gwen and the team following right behind!"

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe bei all den Berichten über CI, dann taucht Torchwood schon auf.

Das ist nämlich offenbar der Name einer Waffe, die bei der Invasion eine Rolle spielt.

So sehr ich auch auf Jack hoffe, aber ich glaube nicht, dass er in der CI auftauchen wird.
Aber sowas wie der Futurama-Weihnachtsmann ist doch auch nett. Hehehehehehehe...

Jop, so habe ich das auch gehört. Würde es eben gerne sehen, wie Jack vielleicht am Ende so vielleicht ein- zwei Minütchen durchs Bild läuft? Waffe schwingend oder so? *hoff*

Ein paar kleine Casting-Gerüchte, geklaut aus der kommenden SFX

Former S Club 7 popette Rachel Stevens has been saying that she's got a callback for a second audition for Torchwood, the new Doctor Who spin-off. And SFX has heard that Eve Myles, who played Gwyneth in last years Unquiet Dead episode, is involved in the series.

Wäre interessant zu sehen, wie sie Gwyneth erklären wollen... glaube da noch nicht so dran
