Vielleicht klärt sich da ja das ein oder andere?

Und zur Zeit lese ich eine "Harry Potter"+"Stargate" Geschichte, für die sich die Werbung hier echt lohnt:

Inhalt: ein ECHTES Crossover (ich kopiere euch mal die Einleitung)

There was a small planet somewhere in the Milky Way galaxy, the third planet from the sun and the only planet able to sustain carbon-based life. This planet had evolved over the millions of years after being created. Despite what the life forms on this planet thought, they had no evolved from large apes. On that planet, thousands of years ago, lived a race of people called the Ancients.

The Ancients were a very poweful race, with technology that rivalled any other species at that time. Even today, the technology of the Ancients is still considered to be the best. One might wonder why no traces of this race could be found on Earth. The Ancients had not been born on Earth. They did not evolve and devlop on Earth and they did not come from this section of the Galaxy. The Ancients were humans of another world. They created life in this part of the galaxy, terraforming planets so that would be able to sustain life and creating other species in their image, humans. These humans lived on Earth.As the Ancients spread through the galaxy, they created a system of portals. Modern humans call them Stargates, advanced peices of technology that enabled a person to step from one planet to another in a matter of seconds. The Ancients were explorers and creator's, but they had their problems like anybody else. A very contagious plague spread through the galaxy at a rapid pace, the Stargate's only spreading it further and further. The Ancients suffered many losses and left this quadrant of the galaxy, hoping to find a new home. Their legacy still remains though, with the thousands of Stargates still active on thousands of worlds, including Earth.

Earth remained untouched by any alien life after the Anicnets, untilroughly 5000 years ago. An Alien species came to Earth, searching for one specific thing. It wasn't food, metal's, gems, riches, or even a new home. No, he came for the humans. This alien named himself Ra, impersonating the Egyptian God of the Sun. He was one of the many creatures who call themselves the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld were a parasitical race, using other species as hosts. At that time, the Goa'uld had never encountered humans before. They used other life forms as hosts but with the discovery of humans, there was now a new and plentiful source of hosts. Millions of humans were shipped off to other planets in the galaxy. Certain numbers of humans were genetically altered into Jaffa humans, designed for the purpose of carrying the larval form of the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld used them as incubators for their young and over time, the Jaffa became dependent on the larval form of the Goa'uld, needing one to live. The Goa'uld also impersonated the deities of ancient civilizations on Earth, to gain obedience and worship and fear.

Ra became the Ultimate power in the Goa'uld. He was named the head of the Goa'uld hierarchy, the Supreme System Lord. There were other System Lord's, Goa'uld's with massive armies of Jaffa and large and powerful ships. The Goa'uld were arrogant and evil and unfortuantely for the rest of the galaxy, they were powerful and plentiful. Civilisations crumbled as the Goa'uld invaded alien planet's, stealing whatever technology they could find.

The System Lords grew more and more powerful,bickering and fightingmore and more. While this was happening, the humans in the nation on Earthknown as Egypt rebelled. The defeated Ra’s soldiers and forced him to flee the planet. They buried the Stargate in hopes thatnobody would ever pass through again. Ra was incensed but for unknown reasons, never retaliated by destroying the planet. It is most likely that he never admitted to the rebellion and claimed that the planet had been destroyed by other means. The humans of Earth became a myth known as the Tau’ri, the first race from where most humans in the galaxy were descended.

Soon the myth of the Tau'ri was forgotten by most. The descendents of once the most powerful race in the galaxy grew and prospered. Some showed strange powers, powers that the Ancients once experimented with, with little success. These group of people called themselves Wizards and Witches and their powers, Magic...

Die Story ist abgeschlossen und ein Sequel (Harry Potter and the Ancients Power ) ist schon in Arbeit ;o)

Zumindest die Einleitung beweist mal wieder, dass Stargate grundsätzlich eine gute Grundlage für X-Over mit fast jedem anderen Universum ist. Vielseitig einsetzbar. *g* Ich werde mich an die Story wagen, sobald ich den Berg Recs abgearbeitet habe, die hier noch so rumliegen.
Allerdings geht das mit den Stargate-X-Overs auch oft genug nach hinten los. Hier (NC17, Slash, violence) z.B. ist die Idee sehr geil, aber die Umsetzung... nun ja, breiten wir mal den Mantel des Schweigens darüber. So schlecht ist es nicht, aber eben auch kein ganz großes Tennis.

BTW, ich suche schon seit einer ganzen Weile nach einem deutschen Stargate/Farscape X-Over, von dem ich den, leider namenlosen, Anfang noch auf der Festplatte habe, aber keinen Schimmer mehr, wo das mal herkam. War in einem Forum stammt aus den Anfangszeiten von Farscape. John Crichton verschwindet durch das Wurmloch, Samantha Carter erkennt es als solches und versucht, es wieder zu öffnen. Aber weiter kam die Story noch nciht, der Anfang war gut.

Sehr lang, sehr gut, sehr gelungenes Crossover (X-Files/Highlander), interessantes Slashpairing, das erstaunlich gut funktioniert. Unbedingt lesen!
(Unter anderem die Autofahrt von Mulder und Krycek in einem Mini quer durch England ist absolut prizeless, ehrlich. Ganz groß)

Oh, wie konnte ich nur diesen Klassiker vergessen:

Sehr lang, sehr gut, sehr gelungenes Crossover (X-Files/Highlander), interessantes Slashpairing, das erstaunlich gut funktioniert. Unbedingt lesen!

Dem kann ich nur zustimmen. Und auch so Sätze wie "My sister was abducted by aliens, and my first boyfriend was a Horseman of the Apocalypse" oder "It wouldn't be exaggerated to say that I didn't have a very good Bronze Age" sind nicht schlecht. *g*

Und wo wir schon Fanfiction massiver Länge empfehlen: Die Storys von Sylvia Volk sollten auf keiner Empfehlungsliste fehlen. Sylvia Volk schreibt in den Universen von Highlander und Buffy, wobei ich aber nur den Highlander-Teil ihres Werkes kenne - der füllt bei mir mittlerweile mehr als einen Aktenordner. Website:

Sylvia Volks Stories sind unter all der Fanfiction, die ich bisher gelesen habe - und das ist nach acht Jahren eine Menge! - vermutlich die, die am ehesten auch als eigenständige Geschichten jenseits der zugrundeliegenden Serie bestehen könnten. Sie baut eine Unmenge von historischem Wissen mit ein und gibt ihren Geschichten dadurch einen dichten, überzeugenden Hintergrund, wie er einem sonst nur in 'richtigen' Romanen begegnet. Sehr oft spielen die Geschichten irgendwo in Asien und erinnern in der Atmosphäre an viktorianische Abenteuerromane. Außerdem haben sie meist auch richtig gute Plots - auch dies etwas, das man nicht in jeder Fanfiction findet *schuldbewußt auf eigene Werke schiel*... Alles in allem: Fanfiction mit Wiederlesewert. Ich empfehle insbesondere Sylvias erste Methos-Serie, die aus den folgenden Storys besteht (auf der Website ist das leider nicht so klar zu erkennen, daher hier die Liste):

- Adamas
- That Which Survives
- She, or the Slave Girl
- The Good Student
- The Reflecting Pool
- Tall Tale
- Lost Horizon
- The First Horseman
- Living Water
- Gogmagog
- The Demon Lover
- Sorcerer's Apprentice
- The Good Teacher

- Pen and Sword paßt auch noch ganz gut in diese Reihe, obwohl es in der einzigen Auflistung der Titel der Serie nicht vorkommt.

(Ja, sorry, immer noch alles Methos-centric Highlander-Zeugs. Das sollte aber niemanden davon abhalten, hier irgendwas anderes zu empfehlen. Hach, ich weiß was: Später empfehl ich ein bißchen Doctor Who und Hellblazer. Da hab ich nämlich auch letztens was gelesen, was gut war.)
