Sehr vage, sehr vage, aber trotzdem ein kleines Update im Gerüchte-Thread wert: Noel 'Mickey Smith' Clarke hat angedeutet, dass er wieder im Whoniverse dabei ist, und als man ihn fragte ob als Schreiber für Torchwood ('Combat' ist von ihm) oder Schauspieler, wurde er auf einmal verdächtig still.
Könnte 'ne Menge Sachen bedeuten, aber trotzdem...When asked whether he would be writing any more scripts, he was coy about his availability. "I'm not doing the second series of Torchwood," he said. "Because I'm doing things that I can't talk about."
As for how the writers would explain Mickey's possible return, Clarke offered a vague explanation. "It's a parallel universe, baby," he said. "The only thing I could say is that it's sci-fi, right? And in sci-fi, there's no real rules, is there?"

Aber die Grenzen sind doch eindeutig dicht gemacht worden damals, oder? Und wenn sie Mickey zurückbringen, dann höre ich auch diverse "Wir wollen Rose"-Rufe aus dem Fandom anklingen... Das wäre ja ein Faß ohne Boden sozusagen. Ich hoffe, der Gute ist nur als Autor dabei demnächst.

Gerüchteweise wird die Christmas Episode 2008 die Regeneration-Folge, nach der sowohl RTD als auch David Tennant dem Doctor den Rücken kehren.
Als Davies' Nachfolger ist schon länger Moffat im Gespräch, und schon beginnen Gerüchte um Doctor Nummer 11. James Nesbitt wird dabei sowohl von der Sun als auch der Daily Mail als sehr wahrscheinlicher Kandidat gehandelt.
Sinn machen würde es schon, er und Moffat sind eng miteinander bekannt... ob's stimmt weiß man nicht, ich klammere mich sowieso weiter an die sinnlose Hoffnung, dass Tennant die Rolle noch Jahre behält. Mehr Moffat-Skripte wären aber sicherlich eine Bereicherung

nesbitt und moffat waren in "jekyll" ein geniales gespann. außerdem könnte das dem doc wieder die nötige portion düsternis und sarkasmus mitgeben, die mir in letzter zeit etwas fehlte.
wäre auf jeden fall eine interessante wahl, vor allem weil nesbitt sehr wandlungsfähig ist und in seinem auftreten viel klassisches hat, das an die frühen doctors erinnert.
naja, und ich hoffe, dass es irgendwann mal so kommen wird, dass sich der doctor eine frau regeneriert.

Viele befürchten eher, dass Nesbitt zu sehr wie Tennant sein könnte... und wenn Tennant in Family of Blood nicht düster war, dann weiß ich auch nicht. Aber naja, abwarten und Tee trinken.

Nesbitt als Doctor wäre schon recht genial, ich mochte ihn in Jekyll sehr - vor allem als Hyde, hüstel...
Und mehr Moffat kann eigentlich nicht verkehrt sein.
Allerdings warte ich ja immer noch darauf dass die BBC jetzt den nächsten Pullman-Roman um unsere hybsche viktorianische Detektivin umsetzt, nachdem die den Goldenen Kompass ja leider nicht machen...

Seit letzter Woche kennen zumindest einige Radio-Fritz-Hörer den Doctor vom Namen her. Denn der Whocast ist momentan auf dem ersten Platz der Trackback-Podcastcharts - und hat endlich "Radio brennt" runtergestoßen, die gingen mir schon auf die Mevonks weil die IMMER seit dem Sendestart da oben waren...
Trackback? Eine Sendung bei Fritz, die sich mit der Blogosphäre und dem Netz beschäftigt. Gibts auch als Podcast, man kanns also nachhören wenn man möchte...
