PIERRE BERNARD: The bottom line, America: “Stargate SG-1” is *way* better without Doctor Daniel Jackson!
CONAN O’BRIEN (on a later episode of his show): True story: a few days after that segment aired, “Stargate” – the people at “Stargate” – contacted Pierre and offered him a part on the show.
(Clip [or outtake?] from Pierre’s appearance in “SG-1”. He is in a corridor at SGC and wearing a technician’s overalls.)
BERNARD (or whatever his character is called): Doctor Jackson?
(Someone offscreen opens fire on him with what sounds like a machine gun. Tiny explosions go off all over his overalls, depicting the bullets impacting. He totters, then keels over backwards.)
