Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest

The Infinite Quest is an animated serial based on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It is being aired in 13 weekly parts starting 2 April 2007 as a segment of the children's spin-off show Totally Doctor Who. Each part is to be three and a half minutes in length and the complete story will be broadcast as a single episode of Doctor Who at the end of the run.

The Doctor and Martha will travel across several alien worlds following clues to aid them in their search of a spaceship known as The Infinite.

Ein paar Screenshots. Der Zeichenstil mag nicht jedermanns Sache sein, trotzdem scheint die Story bis jetzt relativ interessant und witzig, dank der Original-Stimmen von David Tennant und Freema Ageyman ist das ganze dann wohl auch offiziell Canon.

Da wartet man besser bis die Folge komplett ist und schaut sich das Ganze dann an - dass das Canon ist war übrigens von vornherein klar. Halt eine zusätzliche Folge zur aktuellen Staffel im Trickformat. Star Wars hats ja vorgemacht dass das durchaus funktioniert...

Jo, die immer 3-minütigen Folgen sind dann doch recht arg kurz. Trotzdem vor allem wegen der außerirdischen Welten sehenswert, im Cartoon kann man ja auch alles machen, was in der 'realen' Show das CGI-Budget sprengen würde.
