Hm, naja, ganz nett, aber nix besonderes. Ein fliegender Bus über London hatte was, und die Monster waren auch ziemlich cool, aber trotz offensichtlicher Coolheit war Lady Christina leider sehr eindimensional. Dafür war Malcom um so cooler

Inoffizielle Quoten: Planet of the Dead hatte grandiose 8.41 Millionen Zuschauer - was 39.6% Marktanteil macht. Damit war's das zweit-meistgeschaute Programm des Abends, nur übertroffen vom 'Supertalent' Britain's Got Talent mit ca. 10 Millionen Zuschauern. Da kann der Bohlen nur von träumen.

I want more doctor, doctor!
Wir sollten nicht vergessen, dass ist in GB eben Kinder-SciFi. Montagabend ist unser Stammtisch in Englisch und da waren schon viele Native-Speaker zu Besuch, die meinten, dass das Kinderfernsehen sei.
Also sind wir bitte nicht so streng, wenn die Diebin eindimensional ist oder nur drei Monster es zur Erde schaffen...

hach irgendwie ist es ja schön den doctor wieder zusehen. Es sah gut aus und war einigermaßen spannend aber mir hat auch irgendwas gefehlt.
Irgendwie fand ich die Atmosphäre mit dem Mädel zu gezwungen - xmal sagen was für ein gutes team und wie geschaffen die füreinander sind war mir doch etwas zuviel.
Und ich habe den Doctorhumor oder seine "babbelattacken" vermisst.
Ansonsten bin ich aufs nächste Special gespannt ^________^

Naja wenn sooo viele von damals noch dabei wären, wäre die Serie nicht zwischenzeitlich eingestellt worden.
Zur Folge, naja fand sie durchschnittlich.
Blieb irgendwie weit unter meinen Erwartungen.

Schliesse mich dem Urteil - ganz nett aber nur Durchschnitt - an.
Die Metallrochen waren recht cool, leider aber ohne große Hintergrunderklärung. Warum ist den Handelspartnern des Riesenplaneten nach einem Jahr erst aufgefallen, das der ganze Planet untergegangen ist?
Praktischerweise wurden die Fliegenmenschen beide aufgefressen, bevor man sich Gedanken darüber machen musste, wie die auf der xenophoben Erde zurechtkommen sollen...
Immer wieder erstaunlich, wie verbereitet aussersinnliche Wahrnehmung doch innerhalb der Insassen von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln auftreten.
BTW, auch mit Familien (dh. Kindern UND Erwachsenen) als Zielgruppe kann man durchaus auch mehrdimensionale Figuren entwerfen

Also ich fand die Folge (trotz Christina, die ich einfach nicht ausstehen kann) klasse... liegt aber vielleicht auch an meinen Filming-Erlebnissen und an der Tatsache, dass man uns (nen Freund und mich) beim Beobachten der Aufnahmen sogar in der Folge sehen kann *squeeeeeeeeee*
Neee, auch sonst fand ich die Folge super unterhaltsam und um Längen besser als das Weihnachtsspecial. Sehr schön fand ich vor allem, dass es eigentlich keinen wirklichen Bösewicht gab. Zumindest wurden für mich die Metallrochen nicht als solche dargestellt. Und dennoch klasse Unterhaltung. Sehr positiv überrascht war ich von Malcolm, denn Lee Evans wirkte bei den Dreharbeiten doch sehr.... Wer mich auch ein bisschen genervt hat, war der D.I. - also die Weisheit hat der nicht grad mit Löffeln gefressen. Steht vor ner verschlossenen Bustür und sagt Christina sie soll rauskommen, dabei steht groß und breit an der Tür, dass man die auch von außen aufschieben kann... äh ja... soviel dazu.
Super fand ich auch die dezenten Anspielungen auf alte Folgen und Companions.
Und dann noch die Prophezeiung am Ende... hab ich schon mal erwähnt, dass ich Prophezeiungen liebe?
Ui, und dann gibt es noch was für mich zu feiern: 1000 Postings in dieser Comm :rock:
